  1. Hi Calista,

Both the trucks are good. But my favourite is always RAM. Toyota trucks has thier own benefits like you will get 4.6L V8 engine in Toyota as compare to 3.5L V6 engine (2019 Models). Moreover the towing capacity is more of Ram trucks.

It depend upon you which one you want. Both are best at thier own place.

Let us know if you want to know something else.

    Thanks

  2. Hi Clifford,

Ram trucks are good in towing. They come with good towing capacity starting from 5000 pounds payloud (most of the models), however it goes to even 15000 pounds combined with most of the upgrades.

Moreover , the towing totally depends upon the engine power and the weight of the truck.Dodge trucks have some models in which they can tow upto 13000 payloud without any modifications.

The weight of the truck matter a lot. So overall towing capacity of Ram trucks are pretty much good but if you want to increase the capacity then try some trims or modificationa.

  3. Hi Andrein,

Since you have a cam in your 2012 Chevy 1500 with a 5.3, I’d recommend looking at the DiabloSport inTune i3 tuner. It’s an excellent choice for a cam upgrade because it comes with custom tuning options tailored to your setup.

From the list , Superchips Flashpaq F5 Tuner is the best option for your 2012 Chevy 1500 with a 5.3L engine and a cam upgrade. The Flashpaq F5 offers several benefits, including performance tunes specifically designed to maximize power and efficiency, even with aftermarket modifications like a cam upgrade.

Either of these should work well with your setup and help you get the most out of your cam.

I hope that helps you make the right decision.

    Happy trucking!

  4. Hi Samuel,
You can surely try these upgrades but before buying make sure to check the fit. Most of the time there will be issues with the compatibility only. So go for exact model, year and engine.
    Hope this will be helpful.
    Thanks

  5. Hello Steve,

Yeah it would be totally fine, if you want to go with programmer upgrade and cold air intake. These two will also increase the performance of your Ford Ecoboost. There is not any as such restriction to upgrade the exhaust also, it is just an another upgrade that will further boost the performance but it will surely not impact the other two upgrades.

please let us know if you have any other doubt.

    Thanks

  6. Hi Andrew,
For gas engines, Cold Air intake and Aftermarket Exhaust will really help you in gaining what you want! Try with additional mods also like turbo kit and engine tuner. It will help you in increasing the overall performance and power.

  8. Hi Cory,

As increment in the power totally depend upon the air pressure or boost pressure of your turbo charger. So according to that you will see approx. 35-45% of HP increase in your truck so as the torque.

Thanks and let us know if you have any other query.
